Travis Muñoz
Bassoon
Travis Muñoz is a bassoonist from West Covina, California. He has been studying bassoon since 2004, graduating from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts under the direction of Dr. Carolyn Beck and earned a degree from Southern Oregon University. Travis has performed with many groups in the Rogue Valley including the Ashland City Band, Camelot Theatre pit orchestra, Rogue Valley Symphonic Band, Southern Oregon Concert Band, and the Southern Oregon University Wind Ensemble. Aside from large ensembles, Travis shares his love for music through smaller chamber ensembles and he was a founding member of the Coloratura Reed Quintet, La Forza trio, and [Reedacted] clarinet ensemble.
Travis was a conductor’s assistant for the Southern Oregon University Wind Ensemble and Artistic Director of the New Horizons Band. Travis serves as a graduate assistant for Dr. Geene Moon while earning a degree in instrumental conducting and currently plays bassoon for Cal Baptist University Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble.
