Christopher W. Fossmo

Clarinet

Christopher W. Fossmo is the Director of Bands at Lakeside High School in Lake Elsinore, California, a post he has held since 2006. Mr. Fossmo is a graduate of the University of Utah and holds Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in Clarinet Performance. Mr. Fossmo has performed with the Utah Philharmonia, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and has been a member of the Army Music Program for the past 25 years. He is currently the Commander and Bandmaster of the 40th Infantry Division Band of the California Army National Guard. Mr. Fossmo’s primary teachers include Kathy Pope, Dr. Mark C. Ely, Dr. Morris Rosenzweig, and Dr. Reed Thomas. Mr. Fossmo holds professional memberships in the International Clarinet Association as well as the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association where he serves as a festival adjudicator and host for district and regional events.
