Horn

Armando Garcia attended Azusa High School under the direction of Susie Marin for two years and Bill Fritz for the other two. He currently attends Citrus College with a major in Music Performance looking to transfer soon. Armando has played in a number of ensembles including an honor band for high school students at Mt. Sac and the Tournament of Roses Honor Band for the Rose Parade. He marched with Gold in 2018 and started the season in 2022. Armando plays in Citrus’ Wind Symphony on French horn, multiple jazz ensembles on soprano, alto and tenor saxophone, and APU’s symphonic band. He’s had the opportunity to work with Frank Ticheli, Michael Markowsi, and Bob Sheppard.
