Saxophone

Julie He has been in the band for 6 1/2 years, playing flute for 4 years and tenor saxophone for the last 2 1/2 years. She attends Eleanor Roosevelt High school as a junior and is currently in the Symphonic Winds concert band under Bill Fritz as well as being a 3-year marching band member directed by Martin Rhees and Bill Fritz. She has been studying with Daniel Castellanos on tenor sax for the past 2 1/2 years. Last year, Julie played with the John Philip Sousa honor band at RCC under Kevin Mayse. She auditioned for and made it into All-State this year.
