Alec Lira is a student at Citrus College studying accounting and has been working at Raising Cane’s for 3 years now, most recently as a certified traveling trainer. He graduated from Bonita High School, playing all 4 years in jazz band, marching band, battle of the bands, concert band, pit orchestra, and drumline. Lira has had the pleasure of studying under Joe Jackson for tuba going on a year now at Citrus College. He’s played with Wayne Bergeron, Oz Noy, Terell Stafford, Bob Sheppard, and soon to be Veronica Swift. Outside of education ensembles, Lira likes to play in pit orchestras; most recently in Tustin, he played double bass in their Cinderella musical. He plans on transferring after one more year at Citrus College with a major in accounting and minor in music with the goal of pursuing both professionally.
