Audition fee$125
One fee covers the whole process
Your audition music packet, video auditions for out-of-town candidates, and every event, including experience camps. Lunch is included at experience camps.
What to bring
Brass and percussion instruments are provided, but we often have more people auditioning than instruments, so bring your own if you can.
- Your audition fee, if not pre-registered
- A friend who might want to try drum corps: they can sign up at the event
- Your own equipment if possible: horn and mouthpiece, drum, sticks or mallets, flag or rifle
- Pencil and a 3-ring binder with inserts for music (brass and percussion)
- Your printed audition packet, emailed to you when you register
- Athletic clothing (no jeans) and running shoes; dance shoes for guard
- Layers: if the weather is good, we rehearse outside
- A water jug, half a gallon or more
- Sunscreen
- A baseball cap or hat
- A black towel to rest your horn on (brass only)
Live outside California?
We accept video auditions from candidates outside California. If you live in California and have special circumstances that require a video audition, email our Corps Director.
